Current production statistics from the state of Texas show that gas production growth has been hard to come by lately in the Eagle Ford. With gas rig counts declining to the lowest levels in years, the preliminary data show production responding, but the picture differs substantially by county. Here are the major EF gas producing counties. Webb is the largest by far (bordering Mexico, hmmm). Production data may undergo significant upward revisions so recent data should be viewed in that light.
