Heating Degree Days: Last Week Was The Season's Largest Cold Anomaly

Last week was 11 HDD's colder than NOAA's forecast, and recorded an exceptional +53 HDD's above normal.  This suggests a natural gas inventory draw somewhere near -200 BCF, leaving only 1,000 BCF remaining in inventory.  

The forecast for the current week is a slight warm anomaly (13 HDD fewer than normal), and a steep decline from the previous week, as HDD's go from 220 down to 141:
